8th edition of the Film Music Prague Festival is over. Four-days program included concerts of music from John Powell, Stranger Things, movies of famous director Ridley Scott as well as a charity for Unicef ČR. You could have attended panels, workshops and masterclass with our guests: Harry Gregson-Williams, Kyle Dixon and Michael Stein of S U R V I V E, Sebastian ‘Kebu’ Teir, John Lunn (Downton Abbey) and many more. Pics from all concerts you can find here.

More than 5 000 people visited this year’s edition. We presented 500 minutes of film music. 35 international guests (not only) from Hollywood participated on the program. 374 professional musicians – including magnificent soloists like pianist Valentina Lisitsa, tenor Petr Nekoranec, baritone Boris Prýgl, soprano Karolína Žmolíková, conductors Miriam Němcová, Christian Schumann and Chuhei Iwasaki – performed at concerts of the festival. We cooperated with The City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra, Praga sinfonietta, The Hradec Kralove Philharmonic Orchestra, Kühn Choir of Prague and Vox Pragae Choir.

We thank all visitors for such a great atmosphere. We thank our partners who have supported us. And we hope that we will find a sponsor who could help us to increase the program. We have got really big plans for the future. Fingers crossed!
